Competitions
We represent MSU at competitions across the Midwest region, competing in both Slalom and Giant Slalom events.
Skill Level
Our team consists of members of all skill levels. We welcome anyone with a passion for the sport and a desire to improve their skills.
Season
We travel to northern Michigan for 5-6 weekends during the winter to compete against other colleges. This creates a unique opportunity to form lasting friendships while enjoying the thrill of competitive racing.
Our History
The History Behind Everyone's Favorite Team
The Michigan State University Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team has a rich history dating back several decades. What began as a small group of passionate skiers has grown into one of the most active and successful Team sports at MSU.
Throughout the years, our team has competed in countless races across the Midwest, earning numerous individual and team achievements. The dedication and talent of our members have established MSU as a competitive force in collegiate skiing and snowboarding.
Beyond competition, the team has built a strong community of alumni who continue to support and engage with current members. Many lifelong friendships and memories have been formed through the shared experiences of early morning drives to the slopes, late-night waxing sessions, and celebrating successes together.
As we look toward the future, we remain committed to upholding the traditions and values that have defined our team while continuously evolving to welcome new generations of skiers and snowboarders to the MSU family.
