About Our Team

The Michigan State University Alpine Ski and Snowboard Team competes in the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association (USCSA). We represent MSU at competitions across the Midwest region, competing in both Slalom and Giant Slalom events.

Our team consists of skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels, from complete beginners to experienced racers. We welcome anyone with a passion for the sport and a desire to improve their skills.

During the winter season, we travel to northern Michigan for 5-6 weekends to compete against other colleges. This creates a unique opportunity to form lasting friendships while enjoying the thrill of competitive racing.

The team is student-run, with elected officers managing operations, finances, and organizing social events throughout the year. We strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all members to develop their skiing or snowboarding abilities while representing Michigan State.
