Season Passes

As the Michigan State Ski and Snowboard Team partners with ski and snowboard resorts to promote the sport. This year we are excited to announce we have partnered with the Alterra Mountain Company. This means we will be able to offer the Ikon pass both the full and the base at a special student price.

What is the Ikon Pass?

The Ikon Pass is a season pass that will provide you access to skiing to over 48 resorts around the world, discounts, memberships, and events. More details can be found below at the Ikon website (exclusive college pricing is not shown there).

What are the different passes?

There are two passes the Full Ikon Pass and the Base Ikon Pass. The complete details are broken down on the website (IKONpass.com). To summarize the Full Ikon Pass has no holiday restrictions, a longer list of unlimited resorts and more days at resorts that offer the maximum number of ski days. The Ikon Base Pass comes with holiday date restrictions, a shorter list of mountains with unlimited skiing and fewer included days at select additional resorts.

How do I get one?

Click the “Get your Ikon Pass” Button complete the form. Enter your information and provide all the documents (Schedule and ID).  Then wait for you code and instructions to be sent to your email. You must complete this form before 11/14/23 in order to receive a code. Additionally, if you receive a code and do not use it by 11/15/2023 or it will expire.

How do I get the physical pass?

This is super easy either complete your profile by adding your information and picture. Then they will mail your pass and some stickers! If you are late to the game or never got your pass you can also have your pass printed at an Ikon Resort.

 How does it work?

After completing the form, you will receive a code via email to enter in the check out of the Ikon Pass website. Ikon will then contact you on how to collect your pass.

Which pass should I get?

We highly recommend you purchase the Full Ikon Pass. Our main reason for this is the zero black out dates. Whether its New Years, MLK or Presidents Day weekends theres is sure to be 1 of those you are gonna want to go skiing. You don’t want to be stuck at home on while all your friends are on a having a pow day. Additionally,  this will give you access to all of the resorts 7 days of riding vs 5 at the limited destinations, access to Aspen and Jackson Hole, and additional discounts.
